A Survey of Women Artists Working in California, 1860-1960

On March 25th, 2019 artnet news presented a featured article covering the “Something Revealed” exhibit at the Pasadena Museum of History.

The article is titled “A Show of More than 130 Women Artists from California Is Bringing a Once Sidelined Group into the Spotlight.”

Within the show there are about 300 works by 132 women artists of California. And as ArtNews says, “you probably won’t know the names of most of the artists represented.”

The exhibit has been a tremendous success and the museum extended the show until the 13th of April. It was also refreshed with new works in January and we encourage those that have seen the show to take another tour.
