A Survey of Women Artists Working in California, 1860-1960

“Who Was Nellie Gail Moulton?” is the first comprehensive retrospective of the artist’s work in over 50 years. The matriarch of one of the founding families of Orange County, and an early California Plein Air artist, Nellie Gail Moulton was one of the first female artists to join the Laguna Beach art colony in the early 1900s.
